Here you see Witch Hole Pond with Cadillac Mountain in the background. This is an easy walk from Great Haven, around 2.5 miles, on the gentle carriage trails just minutes from your door.
Duck Brook Bridge is a fine example of the beautiful stone bridges through out the park. This is a 2 mile hike or bike ride from your front door at Great Haven.
Duck Brook is a beautiful year-round stream which runs from the hills to the ocean. (By the way, once you get acquainted with the general area, you are bound to find a few "secret pools" off the beaten path which are just right for a quick skinny dip on a hot summer day!)
